Zone Control System
Doesn’t it seem too good to be true to be able to set your bedroom temperature at the perfect-sleeping temperature while the temperature elsewhere in your home is different? Thanks to zoning systems, it’s easily and effortlessly attainable. At A-1 Mechanical & Electric, one of our top priorities is to be sure you’re comfortable in your home––no matter what it takes. Working and living here in Las Vegas, Nevada, we know using a zoning system, in particular an Arzel® Zoning System, is one of the most straightforward and reliable ways to achieve optimum comfort.
What Is This?
Zoning, or a zoning system, is a way to directly control the heating and cooling in your home. It allows you to maximize your home’s comfort and efficiency by specifying separate temperatures for individual rooms or areas. Utilizing an Arzel® Zoning System, you can customize your comfort level anywhere you want so the days of too-hot or too-cold rooms are gone. The system works similarly to the dual-zone climate controls in your car––each person has individualized control over his or her area.
How to Determine a Zone
One of the beauties of a zoning system is the individual zones are completely under your control––whatever and wherever you want them to be. You design them with our expert––it can be one room, an entire floor, or a designated area of your home. Whatever will give you the greatest comfort for your lifestyle is what you can design.
How Does It Work?
Zoning systems work with thermostats, a control panel, and ductwork dampers. That’s pretty much all that’s involved. The Arzel® Zoning System is elegantly simplistic. It can be added to your existing ductwork, so there’s nothing complicated to work out.
The blueprint for a zoning system is thermostats connecting to a control panel that communicates to the various dampers throughout your ductwork to open and shut at specified times and places. This allows for the proper distribution of warm or cool air throughout your home, exactly when and where you want it.
Each zone has its own thermostat, allowing you to set whatever temperature you’d like for that zone. Arzel® Zoning works with most thermostats, and there are no motors, wires, or special sensors. With all this simplicity, there are no loud and noisy motors to deal with. There are only the dampers, and they’re whisper quiet.
Why Have Zones?
Why? The primary reason to implement zones into your heating-and-cooling system is custom comfort. But beyond that, there are both cost savings and energy efficiency involved. By only heating and cooling in a customized fashion, you’re automatically saving on energy. You’re not using your HVAC system where it’s not needed, thereby eliminating unnecessary energy waste. Why heat or cool a room where no one is or one that’s rarely used? This also allows your HVAC system to be run at its highest efficiency, helping to extend its lifespan all while saving you money.
By implementing an Arzel® Zoning System in your home, you’re solving several issues at once. By only heating and cooling specific areas in your home that need it, not only are you saving money and energy, but you’re realizing the optimum comfort available to you. At A-1 Mechanical & Electric, we install, repair, and maintain Arzel® Zoning Systems, because we believe they’re they best. Call and talk with us today at 702.363.6222 for more information.
