“A-1 replaced 2 AC / Furnace units this past week. The install was performed professionally and we're absolutely satisfied with the entire process. VERY IMPORTANT TO US: We did our research. We got 3 bids. A-1 was right in the middle pricewise. The highest bid was from a group within a warehouse store and was outrageously expensive. The cheapest bid was from someone who would replace the units "outside" of their time at another company. While a few thousand cheaper, the SERVICE AND AFTERCARE was a concern. If this installer was on vacation or even sick and the unit had a problem – WE could be in for a problem…waiting for our unit to be serviced for days or possibly longer. No thank you. A-1 is a team. Professional. If there is a problem, there is a team of workers who can come – not a solo worker on vacation hundreds of miles away. After seeing the excellent work performed from the A-1 crew, there becomes a trust. I feel our AC needs will be in proper hands for many years to come. Confidence in a company is important. Aftercare is important. We felt a band aid approach to our AC future wasn't worth saving a few dollars. Great job A-1.”

“After the wonderful experience I had with A-1 on new a/c units, I decided to have their electrical department install a 220 line for a future spa and replace a defective motion light that is mounted high on my outside wall.
Vic and Gerardo scooped out a plan with the least invasive path possible. Running conduit around the outside would have been costly and ugly. They calculated they could go through the subfloor via my ceiling can lights and, in the end, only made one access hole in a workout room and three in our garages. A referral from Vic to his friend to patch the openings was great as you cannot tell they have been patched. The price was fair considering they were here for an 8-hour day. They also installed two LED can lights, fixed an outside light to work properly and cleaned up their work areas. I would highly recommend A-1 for electrical needs and air conditioning.”

“Being new to NV and Vegas we did not know any A/C contractors. We had great luck with Carrier brand A/C in CA so we checked out both authorized dealers for Carrier in Vegas. Both came in price wise within a few dollars but A—1 offered a full ten-year part and labor warranty, were the other only offered a two-year labor and ten-year part’s warranty. I had Ramon from A-1 come out and I really worked with him, but he is super knowledgeable, professional, and it was fun to work with him. We settled on the premium Carrier Infinity units because I had them in CA. They are not inexpensive, the two 4Tons were in the $40k range installed. But they are very efficient on power and will last with annual maintenance for at least 15+ years. They cool the home great and have a Wi-Fi /App to control the system anytime anywhere you might be.
The A-1 install team were top notch, very polite and took great care to protect floors and walls. George the crew supervisor knows his stuff and makes sure his team does things the way he expects.
Ramon, the advisor that sold the system, was at one time a technician himself and was there the entire day to make sure everything went as he had promised and he himself did the new outside electrical boxes, installed, and programmed the thermostats. Then he taught my wife and I how to work everything.
Being new to NV and Vegas I could not be any happier with my selection of A-1 Mechanical & Electric. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing A/C or electrical work or new systems.”
